Compare the 2012 Honda Fit vs Other Years

The 2012 Honda Fit is a continued version of the previous year's model. This simply means that the vehicle's basic features and components remain unchanged. However, Honda engineers and vehicle developers have implemented a few revisions on some aspects of the vehicle. The 2012 model obtained a number of new features such as the console ambient lighting, new cup holders, and more sound insulation.

Since the 2011 Honda Fit is criticised for the excessive road noise that is heard inside the cabin when the vehicle is in motion, Honda has installed more sound insulations on the Fit's floor, A-pillars, and the front fenders. In addition to this, Honda has increased the thickness of the vehicle's quarter windows in front.

Aside from the changes that were mentioned earlier, the Sport trim of the 2012 Honda Fit has received a few more upgrades. The current version of the Fit Sport has a new set of blacked-out headlight surrounds. It also obtained the 16-inch aluminum wheels plus a revised front fascia and grille. The Sport trim has also received a few upgrades on the inside but was able to retain most of its predecessor's significant characteristics.

Compare the 2012 Honda Fit Styles

The 2012 Honda Fit is currently offered in two trims and this includes the Base and the Sport trim. The base trim is offered with a number of standard features such as the keyless entry, 15-inch steel wheels, air-conditioning system, and cloth upholstery. In addition to this, the cruise control system, 60/40-split-folding seat on the rear, full power accessories, the tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel plus the 4-speaker audio system with a built-in CD player, iPod/USB interface, and auxiliary input jack are also available in this model.

The Sport model on the other hand is equipped with a sporty body kit and chrome exhaust tip, 16-inch alloy wheels, foglights, rear spoiler, an armrest for the driver, and shift paddles for the version that is using a 5-speed automatic transmission. Aside from that, the Sport trim also provides a Bluetooth audio and phone connectivity, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with built-in audio controls, and a pair of additional speakers for its sound system. The optional features such as voice controls, digital audio card reader, and a navigation system equipped with a touch-screen interface are also offered on the Sport model.
