The 2013 Nissan Rogue Obtained a Significant Increase in Price

Nissan has confirmed that the price 2013 Nissan Rouge has increased and this trend was basically brought about by the improvements that the company’s personnel have implemented on the vehicle.

According to the confirmation obtained from the car maker, the price of the 2013 Nissan Rogue will start at $23,135 including the destination charge of $825. Given this figure, it is quite obvious that the starting price of the 2013 Nissan Rogue is about $780 higher compared to the price of the base version of the outgoing model which is still sold in the market.

But despite of the increase in the vehicle’s price, a lot of buyers are still interested in purchasing the latest version of the Rogue since this is still cheaper and more reliable compared to some of its rivals in the segment such as the 2012 Honda CR-V and the 2013 Ford Escape.

The 2012 Honda CR-V is currently sold at a price $23,325 including the charge for shipping charge of $830. Although Honda has already unveiled the 2013 version of the CR-V, the car maker has not yet announced the vehicle’s actual starting price. The 2013 Ford Escape on the hard is also cheaper compared to the Rogue since this is currently offered for sale with a price of $23,295 and a destination charge of $825.

By spending a budget which is within the $23,000 range, any buyer is given the chance to own the 2013 Nissan Rogue which is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to a continuous variable transmission. The engine is capable of producing up to 170 horsepower and 175 lb.-ft. of torque. A lot of car experts agree that the maximum power output produced by the 2013 Nissan Rogue’s engine is just enough to propel the vehicle. In addition to this, the latest version of the Nissan Rogue is also expected to obtain the fuel economy ratings that are almost similar if not better than what its closest rivals have achieved.

Aside from its impressive performance and quite efficient nature, the 2013 Nissan Rogue can also be considered as a top vehicle option for SUV buyers since this is offered with a number of packages that bundle some optional features. The Rogue Premium Edition which serves as the replacement for the previous model’s Premium package and offered on the SV versions equips the vehicle with additional fog light and an upgraded audio system with seven speakers from Bose.

The Special Edition package which is offered on the S models on the other hand provides the vehicle with 2 additional speakers and Bluetooth hands-free system for the phone.
