2014 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Priced

Land Rover finally announced the latest pricing information of the existing trims that are included in the 2014 Range Rover Evoque lineup and these prices reflected a modest decrease compared to those that are attached on the previous year’s model.

According to Land Rover, the 2014 Range Rover Evoque Pure Five-Door model which is equipped with the 9-speed automatic transmission will be sold at a starting price of $41,995 including the shipping charge of $895. Compared to the 2013 model which is sold at $42,040 including the shipping charge of $895, the 2015 version is cheaper and the price difference is about $45.

Land Rover has also revealed that the price of the 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque coupe will start at $45,040 while the Range Rover Evoque Coupe Dynamic which is considered as the upcoming lineup’s most expensive trim will be sold at $58,195 including the shipping charge.

Given such prices, many car experts were actually surprised with Land Rover’s decision since instead of increasing the prices of each model due to the introduction of a new 9-speed automatic transmission, the carmaker has decided to reduce such.

Although Land Rover has not directly admitted, many experts are suspecting that this move was actually implemented by Land Rover since the Evoque was proven as the best-selling Range Rover model all over the globe and introducing a new nine-speed automatic transmission that boosts the vehicle’s fuel economy ratings farther as well as decreasing its price could be an effective strategy to further improve the Evoque’s appeal towards buyer.

Aside from revealing the prices of the 2014 Range Rover Evoque models, Land Rover has also shared that the new nine-speed automatic transmission will be offered as standard in all of the trims and this will serve as the replacement for the six-speed automatic transmission that was used on the 2013 models. The new transmission according to Land Rover will still be mated to the same direct-injected 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that was used on the outgoing model and capable of generating up to 240 horsepower.

Finally, Land Rover confirmed that the existing models of the 2014 Range Rover Evoque is scheduled to go on sale this fall.
