The Porsche 911 Carrera series are made up of the Carrera 4 and Carrera 4 S, the 2006 models of the Carrera 4 and 4 S are the newest driven machines in the Porsche 911 line up. Unlike the 1999 -2004 models, the newest 911 is produced only for appearance sake, being a few heads longer and taller than its previous generations, the gauges now spreads in a larger pods than before, the dash vent has been made larger and also the climate control system now moves in more air than was possible formerly.

The 911’s body now uses more aluminum body parts thereby reducing body weight. The headlight and front fascia has been transformed to a rounder, single pod lamp replacing the teardrop-shaped multi-light headlamps which was used on the previous 2005 models. Other improved features of the Porsche Carrera are the Headlights, fog lights, smaller tail lights, rear fenders are extended from the car creating more space for the 911’s classic extra wide rear wheels.

 For safety reasons the 911 has an electronically controlled system which enables the driver regain control in case of any skid. For head protection the air bags are stationed from the doors. Brake spoilers’ guides more air to the brake assemblies, enabling the brakes to reduce its operating temperatures as much as 10 percent, giving the Porsche an effective braking system under extreme conditions.

The seats are more firm and fuller, Redesigned to have a higher bolstering on the bottoms and also at the back, the cushions have now been increased at the shoulder level making creating a semblance of more space. The rear seats can be folded, thus creating more space. Another great point for the Porsche is its interior, it has been described as the as one of the best interiors ever made which makes it an excellent choice for daily commuting and long distance driving. Another plus for the Porsche 911 is the fact that it’s friendlier than its competitors, rides smoothly and comfortably. The three spoke leather telescoping steering wheel automatically adjusts itself to suit the driver the first time it’s used. Also available on the Porsche 911 is a navigation system, an optional telephone, trip computer, power window, cruise control, digital AM/FM/CD Stereo, power locks with keyless remote and a speed dependant retractable rear spoiler.
