The Jeep brand, which is more like a way of life to many, is growing from a small niche lineup of cars, entering into the competitions, approaching those buyers, who, just with the right nudge may go for the image and allure of a Jeep. Both the models of the car feature a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, with Variable Valve Timing (VVT), producing 172 ho and 165 ib-ft of torque. According to the manufacturer, the VVT technology offers more power and better fuel economy than other comparative cars. The car comes with a five speed manual transmission with an optional feature of continuously variable transmission (CVT). It meets stringent emission control specifications with the standards built in its engine using diesel fuel. The Patriot is made to attract new and younger buyers. The attraction of the car is that consumers increasingly prefer car-based vehicles that look like SUVs but drive typically as a family sedan.
