The 2007 Infiniti M35 is an entry-level luxury sedan. It is considered the “big brother” of the G35. The M35 ranges in price from $39,900 to $42,700. Competing against German made cars, it is in the class of the BMW 5-series and Audi A6. They are coming with all-wheel drive, which seems to be a standard or optional these days for luxury sedans. The 2007 M35 is a powerful V6 engine, also a seemingly standard for luxury sedans nowadays.

Having come out this past March, there were three options that were released with this New Year, the M35, M35x all-wheel drive, and M35 Sport. While the V6 is the same engine that Infiniti uses in many of its vehicles, sister companies as well, it is a 280 horsepower version making it faster than in other vehicles. The engine is so fast it can go from 0 to 60 in 6.3 seconds on a quarter-mile track, definitely no need for a V8 here. To complement this high-powered engine is a speed-sensitive variable assist steering unit. And even though the sedan weighs 3,880 pounds, the steering can handle the vehicle on just about any road fluidly. The M35 Sport is credited for pulling this off with the sport package that consists of stiffer shocks, bigger wheels, and a rear active steer or 4-wheel steer. This handling is achieved by the rear wheels steering in the opposite direction at low speeds and in the same direction at high speeds.

The interior of the M35 is definitely a class above other sedans in its class. Finished in rosewood on the console doors and dash, the 2007 M35 is beautiful. Of course, anyone that doesn’t want wood trim can get aluminum on the Sport model. The seats are comfortable and it comes standard with a Bose high-end surround sound stereo. It features Solar Eclipse lighting for the instrument panel. This feature was designed by the engineers and didn’t get changed, which is nice since many ideas are. The M35 also comes with a push-button Intelligent Key system.
